These are the ramblings of a happy Commodore computer user since 1983. I cover topics on both the C64 and C128, reviewing my favorite games and applications, as well as share some of my favorite memories from the 8-bit era. New Game: Lil' Potato

This is a game of tyranny and ultimate justice. Lil' Potato is besieged in his "castle of spuds" on the hill. Can he make it past the workers encamped outside the gates and make it to his hiding place under the bridge?

With all that has been happening in our capital city, Ottawa, and now all over the world it seems, I dedicate this little game to those brave people standing up to the bullies we call our “leaders”.

In this game, which I call “Lil’ Potato”, your task it to help the dictator, Little Potato, escape from scary blue collar workers that have besieged his castle on the hill.

From the game:

The game is just a simple little BASIC program, originally published in the book “Using the Commodore 64 In The Home”, back in 1983 under the name “Bug Run”. It was one of the first games I ever tried programming into my C64, back in the day.  I just did a few modifications to it to the code, added some graphics and a story line to suite the theme.

You can freely download the game from my Commodore blog, HERE.  I've also uploaded it to the Public directory, here on Commodore Server.

I hope it can bring a smile to your face.
